Things they won't say about Lois when she's gone

She rarely copied other bloggers' posts.

She got a handle on her boy-craziness early in life.

She was extremely disciplined.

She was a tough-as-nails, outgoing child who thought sensitivity was for pansies.

She preferred outside friends to the company of her family.

She didn't have a clear idea of whom she wanted to marry before she met Superman—and even then, because of her cautious nature, it took her a long while to figure out he was "the one."

She lacked the tenacity to set her sights on something and really go for it.

She took sides quickly and rarely tried to see things from another perspective.

She knew how to hold onto every friend she made.

She much preferred the idea of a career to motherhood.

She never tried to milk the negative aspects of her middle position in the birth order.

She refused to judge people by their driving abilities.

She had phenomenal self-control with no hint of an addictive personality.

She married right out of college because she figured her husband was as good as anyone.

She didn't put much stock in religious faith and avoided any discussion of the issue.

Even though they shared a room together as children and even attended high school at the same time, she and her younger sister never managed to form a lasting friendship.

She couldn't quote "Friends" worth a darn.

She postulated no LOST theories.

She learned her listening skills from her older sis.

She had no concept of the correct way to use adverbs.

She loved to sing at family functions.

Her physical fitness regimen was an inspiration to all.

People marveled how she was even able to stand on such slender ankles.

Kissing mustachioed old men, kissing everyone, really - was one of her most endearing traits.

It's a shame she never started a book club. You rarely saw her without a novel in hand.

Her restless spirit led her and her husband to lead an almost gypsy-like lifestyle. In the end, their real estate portfolio was the envy of her family.

Loathed the internet.

What's the opposite of "cute as a button?" As un endearing as a snap?"

Clever way to describe yourself. :o) Maybe, while we're on vacation next week, I can come up with a similar list for myself.

(Came here via Lacoochee Kid, with a couple of turns.)
